If you’ve ever walked into a room on a warm fall or winter day and found dozens of sluggish flies buzzing slowly around the windows, you’ve probably met cluster flies. They look similar to house flies at first glance, but they behave very differently. Instead of breeding in garbage, they enter homes in autumn to overwinter in attics, wall voids, and unused rooms.
